Information We Collect

Information you provide: Trip destinations, budgets, trip duration, travel preferences, and notes you enter into the app.

Automatically collected: When you use WanderSolo, we create an anonymous account on your device to manage your usage. This account is identified by a device-level identifier and does not require your name, email, or any personal information. We track the number of AI travel plans you generate per month to enforce subscription plan limits.

How We Use Your Information

• To generate AI-powered travel plans:When you request a plan, your trip destination, budget, and duration are sent to our backend service and processed by Anthropic's AI to produce your itinerary. This data is used solely to generate your plan and is not stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to enforce usage limits.
• To enforce subscription limits: We maintain a count of plans generated per device per month in our backend database. This record is tied to your anonymous device account, not to any personally identifying information.
• To improve the app: Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be used to improve WanderSolo.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Storage

Trip data (destinations, budgets, notes, generated plans) is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, this data is removed. Anonymous account tokens used to authenticate with our backend are stored securely in your device's Keychain. Usage count records are stored in our backend database and associated with your anonymous device account.

Third-Party Services

WanderSolo uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase— Backend infrastructure for anonymous authentication and usage tracking. Supabase's privacy policy applies to data processed through their platform.
• Anthropic— AI service that generates travel plans from the destination, budget, and trip length you provide. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to data processed through their API.
• Apple App Store / StoreKit— Subscription management and in-app purchases. Apple's privacy policy governs payment processing. We do not collect or store your payment information.

Children's Privacy

WanderSolo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
